Gawlick Film Review

For a lot of the semester I have been working on the golden girls remake. It is called Burr and Burton Babes. In this film I was an actor and definitely learned a lot about how to act and the other side of the camera. This wasn't my first time acting in a film but it was a completely different role considering I was acting as a girl not a fish. I learned that wigs are very uncomfortable. Also, since I was the only person that is in advanced I helped a lot on lighting and shot setups. I feel like I helped the people in my group learn things and I also learned a few more things about lighting and the shots. Also toward the beginning of the semester, I took a good amount of time to film a commercial with skoot. Since I had to act and that took awhile I didn't really have time to edit. But during that I found out what is like to be a director and a DP. Both of these are a challenging job but it is fun to be in control and have things done the way you want them to be done. This semester was a lot of fun and I learned a lot.
